Swayzine - Influencer Marketing InsightsHey there,

It’s been a busy few weeks of press hits around these parts. In case you missed these latest features (or are actively avoiding the news right now, which is so fair), I’ve rounded up a highlight reel of some of our latest coverage to catch you up on all things Sway Group and influencer marketing!

Healthcare Success Podcast

Is there room for influencers in an industry like healthcare that is so heavily regulated? You may not be used to hearing influencer marketing and healthcare talked about in the same sentence, but I’m here to tell you that healthcare may just be an ideal setting for influencer campaigns. I chatted with Stewart Gandolf of the Healthcare Success podcast about this very topic.

Key takeaways:

  • Authenticity is the key to both a successful influencer marketing campaign and building trust in healthcare.
  • Influencer marketing in healthcare requires meticulous vetting and diligent attention to industry policies and regulations.
  • Working with an agency that understands the intricacies of influencer marketing is essential when introducing influencers into healthcare.

“Getting into influencer marketing in healthcare might seem risky, but it doesn’t have to be. After 13 years of running my agency and nearly 20 years in this space, I’ve learned that we can take steps to minimize those risks. Honestly, with the right approach, it can be just as safe and effective as running a TV ad.”

Little Black Book

In case you missed our announcement a few weeks ago, I am thrilled to share that Sway Group has officially joined the Worldwide Partners (WPI) network! As a new member of WPI, Little Black Book did a profile of Sway Group where I spoke about what this partnership means for us and what I see for the future of the industry.

The highlights:

  • Diverse voices are essential in influencer marketing for both elevating new ideas and building connections with audiences.
  • At Sway Group, we focus on genuine storytelling and human connections to establish trust between brands and consumers.
  • Our new partnership with WPI will allow us to enhance our reach while retaining the authentic touch that has defined Sway Group for over a decade.

“People are drawn to transparency and meaningful engagement instead of polished ads. What resonates most now is real storytelling that feels human.”

ICYMI Newsletter

When my friend Lia Haberman reached out to me to share one of my 2025 predictions for her newsletter, ICYMI, I was eager to share my thoughts! Lia’s question: When it comes to the social and creator economy, “what do you hope to see and/or expect to see in 2025?” It was hard to pick just one prediction (stay tuned in the coming weeks for a link to an article with all of our thoughts about 2025), but I decided to focus on Gen Z for the purposes of Lia’s newsletter.

My 2025 Gen Z predictions:

  • With more Gen Z influencers and consumers, the desire for relatability and authenticity will intensify.
  • Gen Z is all about sustainability and ethical consumption– expect to see a push for even more socially conscious products and campaigns.
  • TL;DR: Say goodbye to perfection, and say hello to fun, relatable, and unscripted influencer content in 2025.

“But what matters most to [Gen Z] is authenticity and transparency, whether it’s the products they support or the stories being told.”

Read what Lia and all the other experts had to say here.

That’s all for now. We’re entering our busiest time of the year with the launch of holiday campaigns and 2025 planning in full swing. Have something to say about any of these pieces? Connect with me on LinkedIn.
