Hello,
There has been a lot of press and buzz lately about B2B influencer marketing, and I love it. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever that influencer marketing has to live just in the consumer space.
BUT… what’s interesting is that the bulk of this new buzz is focused on what I usually call “white collar” products. It’s typically all about SaaS platforms and technology. Why? There are so many other businesses out there, and with people of all types spending so much time online, why limit B2B influencer marketing to just folks working white collar jobs?
We love using career professionals for influencer marketing campaigns, and often, these are people who rarely sit at a desk. In just the last year or two, we have engaged construction workers, doctors, registered dieticians, pharmacists, and even professional bowlers!
I was pleased to see this article by Alfie Trodd of Five by Five (a UK agency that is part of our Worldwide Partners family) talking about the increasing trend of using “tradie” influencers on campaigns. Requests for professionals of all types have been increasing dramatically this year, and we are here for it. When you combine the expertise of a true professional with the reach of an influencer, magic happens.
More next week,
Danielle
